Cultural alienation, balkanization, provincialism

               Motivations for my marketing participation

As the default, micro-cultural alternative to the homogenized media paradigm programming.  Life exists in the more dystopian anecdotal extensions such as Absolute News reports as,                                     Skeletal remains of missing woman found inside..
Pawn shop owner brutally murdered by fake..
Missing 16-year-old girl's remains found in front..
Toxic mushrooms send 11 people to the hospital..
Family desperate to find mother who disappeared..
Two workers dead and dozens injured in gas plant explosion..                                                                  Mass shooting at Halloween party leaves 1 dead, 14 injured

Yet our cultural media "icons" of the professions, entertainment, and politics are exhibited as the models to listen to or to emulate. Such attentiveness or imitative emulation has its own derivative  operative reason-for-being. In practice, it is so disaffected and estranged from the 'media models' that it reflects the perverse chasm of discontinuity from what the media narrative seeks to impose as the reality of the folks on any 'Main Street', versus the topographical and psychological ghettos within those 'Main Streets'.

My own emotional background is ethics and politics. The kerfuffle(?) over Obama's "chastisement" of Black male voters led me dialectically back to my college study interests of alt-cultures, the supposed social pathology perceived of those cultures, those cultures own estrangement, radicalization, and incestuous provincialism.

That ties in with the reaction to Obama's "exhortation", in that he is NOT and NO LONGER in the same or similar visceral-organic conditions of the people he's addressing. There is an emotional disconnect beyond having the same shared, racial or class designation. It's THAT, where I have my divergence with the wealth-generation movements, not only with wealth generation-preservation plans, but also, its UBIQUITOUS latitudinal and vertical social presence  in American culture [and world-wide] as any plan for gaining the individual trappings of wealth, instead of the wealth of the community.

Individual wealth, to a functional operational effective stability, is a needed and practical starting point of focus. When it gets to the level of high-end affluence of exclusive privileges and entitlements is where I differ. Call it 'Been there. Done that'-from previous stops where such things were mine to join and have socially, thus culturally.

Wealth that makes it possible for any group of people to exist in a social environment that has the stability for the operation of their functional and imperative aspirations is my utopian vision. I see populist, minimalist wealth generation plans and the other like activities as components for that. When creating the structures for individual stability, or sharing that structure in its original and extrapolated paradigms, plus establishing a preservation of one's cash-flow equity are my ideas of community/communal involvement.

Beyond pigeon-holing friends-associates-strangers within a group  of an obliged social-participation network, I see presenting a transactional choice of involvement for the level of interests desired and capable to the individual's tangible and intangible resources. One of the goals is to establish interactional neighborhoods and communities made up of such folk, who now exist in a culture of ethical networking with each other for gratuitous and altruistic transactional ends.

This would differ from the present paradigm of individual, supra-affluence for comfort and default financial privilege within an exclusive group, that dismisses as secondary and moot, the political and social forces they were and are seeking to escape for this level of supra-tangible comforts.
